Policy | Residential Treatment Passes
Peer Recovery Support Services
We partner with MNPRA to provide on site PRSS services to the clients in short term. While with a MNPRA staff clients can tour treatment programs and sober homes, attend outside meetings, view potential jobs for aftercare, attend a school conference, funeral attendance, attend a child’s event, go to the bank, go to the store for living supplies, and a variety of other outings.
Passes
Because of our level of care, we do not approve any passes in the 3.5 level of care residential program except for a qualified emergency.
Qualifying Emergencies
Emergencies that qualify for approval of an emergency pass include the death, severe injury, or severe illness of a close family member, or circumstances that threaten their immediate safety. All pass requests must be approved by the treatment director or clinical supervisor. The passes will be evaluated to verify need. A release of information is required for a safe person that will provide all supervision and transportation on the pass. The length of passes is determined after this.
Abuse of Pass Privileges
If the client fails to return at the designated time, uses while on emergency pass, or returns with contraband this is subject to immediate discharge.
