Mark’s Story
“I was alone, miserable and jittery because of my meth use.”
I worked hard and got a massive opportunity for an internship at Harvard. I suddenly realized that what I spent so long pursuing wasn’t going to make me happy.
I came back to Minnesota and started doing coke and Adderall, to help with my depression. As I got more addicted, I lied and stole from my family and my friends.
I basically had no real connections, but I met a guy full of faith who changed my life. When I told him I was addicted to meth, instead of running away, he ran toward me.
I came to MnTC and changed my life. The recovery coaches are walking examples of what I wanted, I knew it was matter of putting in the work. I realized that Jesus inspired normal people to pull people like me out of the gutter.
